Our partners - SIRIUS SHIPMAN company. The company conducts the following business activities - commercial management and affreightment, technical management, building of staff of command personnel and employees of other ranks, brokerage services.

Commercial management and affreightment are conducted by freight department of the company.

The ships are employed for short international passages in the regions of Baltic and North seas. The most common cargo types are fertilizers, metalware, industrial wood and other bulk cargoes.

Freight department also implements:

marketing and analysis of transport services market in zones of interest to the Company;

preparing and conducting of negotiations;

evaluation of offers on transportation of cargoes;

control of quality of execution of sea shipping contracts, preparation of reports;

general recording and analysis of performance of vessels;

Operational section of freight department manages vessels directly. It implements the following functions:

tracking of vessels (using automatic identification system);

operational recording and analysis of performance of vessels;

establishment of direct contacts and tight cooperation with all participants of transportation process (affreighters, ship masters, agents at ports of loading/unloading, staff of onshore facilities, authorized persons etc.)

revision and validation of disbursement accounts, bills for radio communications and other operational expenses;

daily inspection and analysis of fulfillment of a schedule of cargo delivery under agreements and contracts;

analysis, calculation and settlement of claims of all types;

Technical department of the company ensures safe operation of vessels and:

plans the budget for all technical servicing;

plans, uses and controls the material resources directed to purchase of spare parts, stock and lubrication;

prepares and signs contracts with repair enterprises on large-scale repair works with removal of vessels from operation;

organizes and fulfils surveys by representatives of the Company or other inspectors;

controls and adjusts ship reports in compliance with the International Convention for Safety Management;

prepares repair documents;

Staff department is responsible for cooperation with ship personnel, namely:

fulfils proper and timely recruitment of staff for the Company vessels;
prepares and confirms personnel schedules of vessels in compliance with the requirements of Flag Administration;

develops and approves forms for report on crewing;

cooperates with major crewing companies on staff recruitment issues for the Company vessels;

works with Flag Administration on timely provision of documents necessary for crew members;

controls qualification of staff and directs them to qualification upgrading courses when necessary in accordance with requirements of international conventions;

controls the budget for personnel management and Company policy in cooperation with the financial manager;

maintains relations with sailor trade unions and informs the Director General on the latest requirements and recommendations;
